Getting iCloud Accounts w/2-step enabled to work with Outlook for iOS

So, you’ve just installed Outlook for iOS and you’re trying to get iCloud to work on it, but you remember, you have two-step verification enabled!  If you’re trying to get this to work, you’ll need to generate an application specific password before you’ll able to log in and use the app.

Follow the steps outlined in HT204397:

  1. Go to My Apple ID.
  2. Select Manage your Apple ID and sign in.
  3. Select Password and Security.
  4. Click Generate an App-Specific Password and follow the steps on your screen.

Once you’ve generated your password, it’s important that you DO NOT copy and paste it into the Outlook for iOS app.  This will simply cause an error.  You need to manually input the password WITHOUT the dashes (“-“) or the login will simply errror out.

If you typed everything in correctly, you should now be enjoying Outlook for iOS!

Karmin – Sugar

New track from one of my favorite artists.  I watched them start from nothing, go viral, and then become mainstream.  Love when they release new tracks.  Enjoy!

iPhone/iOS Backup Extractors

Taken from: ; What does it do? This application converts the iPhone / iPod Touch backups that are created by iTunes into readily usable Mac OS X files. It is designed to run on Mac OS X Leopard only. What’s it used for? Extracting application resources for developers to help them investigate bugs. Exploring files that are created by third party applications using Finder. Decoding the SQLite database files that are stored on the iPhone / iPod Touch, such as Call History, SMS messages, and Notes

The other iOS Backup extractor that I like to use is iScavange.  iScavange has an easy to use interface and is simpler to understand for novice users.

This zip file contains the Microsoft scanpst.exe repair tool. It also contains all the dependencies/dll’s. It has been scanned and is free of viruses.

Haywyre – Everchanging

I love this track so much.  It offers a very unique vibe, smooth bass line, and interesting vocals.  The piano hidden throughout the track and at the end is also a very nice touch.  Very interesting to listen to!
